Subic Waterfront Resort and Hotel is perfectly located for a pleasant walk through the central district’s main attractions. Directly in front of the hotel is access to the beautiful waterfront boardwalk—a perfect place for a scenic morning jog, an evening stroll, or just sitting and enjoying views of the bay. Children’s playgrounds, open grassy areas, and several monuments relating to the area’s naval history can all be found along this same boardwalk.

For dining and shopping, the area is excellent. A block away from the hotel is a strip that offers wide choices of restaurants, cafes, and bars-from Filipino diners to international chains such as Texas Joe's House of Ribs or Seafood by the Bay. Subic's famous duty-free shops selling imported goods at tax-free prices are comfortably within a 10-15 minute walk for some bargain hunting.

Recreational activities are also close by. You can walk to nearby parks or possibly find operators along the boardwalk who offer water sports or boat tours. The area is very safe, clean, and pedestrian-friendly with wide sidewalks and little traffic compared to other cities in the Philippines. All of these make a pleasant and relaxing environment to explore at your own pace.
